Our Employees
Employees play an important role in any business. Here is where we get a chance to tell you a little about ourselves.
The Owner - Kathy Clark, more often seen in the day but does come out at night to frighten the regulars with her massively
under rated charm.
Janice, the Bar Manager, friendly helpful and always ready with her sarcastic wit.
Rachael, shift supervisor, has been with us for over 3 years and still needs direction to the bar, most often found outside
with the customers smoking and having a laugh
Kirsty, shift supervisor, works evenigns, to make your welcome warm and provides a friendly chatty atmosphere
Some of our evening bar staff include Tim, Brad, Dave and Geoff
uuuuummmm looks like there is a female take over of the management positions, come on lads are you good enough to take
them on!!!

The Pub was built by the Charlton Brewery company in 1937 as The Borough Arms Hotel, named because of its
location between the Boroughs of Weston Super Mare and Worle. In the 70's the name was changed to The Heron, but common sense
prevailed and it was changed back in the 90's to The Borough Arms. the final was in the early 2000's when the whole interior
was revamped to reflect the historic past.
In the 1960's many (now)famous stars sang here, Helen Shapiro to name but one. This tradition of good music is
carried on to this day with bands such as JD and Evanfly on a Saturday night.
Karaoke was started in Japan, as a way of entertaining business men on their business nights out, the tradition
of singing to entertain your friends,has been carried on around the World and has set the music world alight with many good
singers and some very bad ones!! Surprise your friends with a great night out at the Borough on Thursday nights and show them
the talent you have been hiding all this time.
For good home cooked food, freshly prepared on the premises, there is no better place to entertain the family,
with traditional pub food and something special for all. The children's menu is wide ranging and has something for all tastes.
This is where you can learn about our company and its history. We have been interested in starting our own business for many
years and are excited to finally have reached that goal. Taking our business to the web makes the process even more exciting.
